I figure I better put this up, since people are ranting about this week’s show on last week’s post. This week, Carmen withdrew because of the injuries she sustained from eating the floor on last week’s episode. At least, that’s what she said. I have a feeling she just couldn’t keep playing with the meat with faces. That seems more like a Carmen thing to do, so she’s out.
Last week, we said good-bye to Carson, but this week I got to see him on Family Feud, opposing Paula Deen’s family. Yeah, it was pretty dang funny.
Anyway, back to the show. Because Carmen left the show voluntarily, there were only two players on Anne’s team, and 3 on Rachael’s. I kind of already knew that meant there wouldn’t be an elimination this week, though I’m still hoping Perez is off soon. He really just grates on my nerves. Perez is really the worst.
I’m still rooting pretty hard core for Melissa to win the whole thing, but she’s got some decent competition. Each of these horrible cooks keep proving that they can learn and grow. that’s so important for everything in life. I hope that the Erik, Carson, and Carmen are still playing in the kitchen. If they need lessons, I’m available for hire. You can even Skype me in, for a fee. If any of you know them, let them know, please.
Melissa and Vivica fought it out as the bottom two for the week, but as another viewer noted on the first week’s post, Vivica cried, and Rachael almost took Perez in her place. I really though I had been transported to The Hunger Games, and Perez was an involuntary tribute. As much as I think he shouldn’t be on the show, I don’t think he should just be booted for no reason.
I’m looking forward to next week. It’s going to start getting more and more intense as the weeks go on. What are you looking forward to most?
